Eleanor Ann Powell Norton
Ann was born in Bermuda in 1952. Eldest of 3 children born to Albert “Sandy” Powell and Mary Powell; locally renowned watercolourist.
Educated at the Bermuda High School for Girls, St. Goddericks Secretarial College and then choosing her profession as a Registered Nurse graduating from Guys Hospital in London, England. Her nursing career kept her in the UK for 10 years and from there she returned to Bermuda where she married and had 1 son. She then continued to work in Bermuda until her retirement in 2017.
Ann is self taught in the modern conveyance of pouring using acrylics. Having grown up surrounded by art Ann has now discovered that she too has an artistic flare and is enjoying creating exquisite, modern pieces in her spare time. She lives and works from home with her dog Molly while caring for her mother.
